She posted on her Instagram ID, “I spend much of my childhood wondering how it would be to finally meet my biological father. Imagining how I would react in the given moment. Would be sad? Happy? And after 15 years God blessed me with the opportunity to travel back to Ethiopia. Much to my surprise I couldn’t believe how overwhelmed I was with emotions when I finally met him. This is a day I will never forget. I got to experience a part of me that I kept for myself for so long. I have forgiven him for everything. My heart is at peace. I feel like a new person.“
